Roskilde Festival Folk High School (ROFH), Roskilde, Denmark
Friday 10 September – Sunday 12 September 2027
Save the date!
Sharing and building solution focused practice in organisations – since 2002
This is a preliminary announcement that the next SOLWorld international conference will be on 10-12 September 2027 in Roskilde, Denmark. Save the date!
The conference, the next in the series of international SOLWorld events following on from Vienna (2023) and Mechelen (2025), will feature all the usual attractions; keynote speakers from within and outside the SF movement, interactive workshops, an Open Space for emergent conversations, plenty of time to connect, a conference dinner and cabaret. We will have an evening meet-up on Thursday 9 September close to the venue where food and drinks will be available. The conference will close at lunchtime on Sunday 12 September.

The event will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the very first SOLWorld meeting in Bristol in February 2002 (see the 2002 programme here, and photos here). Since then, there have been over 70 events under the SOLWorld banner- see the full list here, with links to every event. Our tagline is, and has always been, sharing and building solution focused practice in organisations.
The venue is the Roskilde Festival Folk High School (ROFH), in the Musicon area of Roskilde, Denmark. Hans-Christian Nielsen, the school principal, is a keen SFer and will be known to many of you. The school hosted a successful EBTA conference in 2025, and we look forward to using their fun and interactive spaces.

Roskilde is a cathedral city on the Danish island of Zeeland, about 30 minutes from Copenhagen. There are frequent trains from the city centre and CPH airport. Roskilde is famous for its Viking ship museum and its music festival, to which the ROFH is connected. The school students are away on project work during our event, so there will be a possibility to stay in single rooms at the school for some. There are also hotels and AirBnBs nearby.

All you have to do is to save the dates and think about workshop ideas and possible cabaret offerings. The organising team is working on finalising:
- A way to submit workshop proposals
- How to book
- The exact pricing for residential and non-residential places
- Details of accommodation in the area
- Keynote speakers
All you can do for now is save the dates in your diary. And maybe start looking at how you can get there and what you might contribute.
NOTE that the EBTA conference 2027 will be held the following weekend (17rosk-19 September 2027) in Torun, Poland. If you are coming a distance to join us, it might make a great trip to combine the two events!

We hope to have more details soon.
