June 27, 2016 from 8pm to 10pm

An Aussie in Berlin

G'Day All,I'm visiting Berlin for a couple of weeks from the 29/10/15 and would love to connect with any SF people in or nearby. The impression I get from SolWorld and the SFCT is that is such a strong community of SF Practitioners in Europe. I'm in Berlin scoping out opportunities for work (in IT) but one plus of being based in Berlin would be the opportunity to immerse myself further in the SF community which is a little tricky to do from the far off frontiers of Australia ;-)Cheers.RodSee More

A solutions focused approach to communities, countries, and the world

I was very excited to listen to a teleseminar recently about a Solutions Focused approach to communities, countries, and the world.

The teleseminar was by Eleanor LeCain on "Breakthrough Solutions That Can Improve Your Life and Change the World". Eleanor talks about Citizen Solutions councils that can identify solutions that are already happening in their communities and states, but not widely known about, and get them up onto the internet at a website called… Continue

Holacracy: an emergent form of human organisation

For a long time I have felt that democracy is out of date and that there must be a better system for organising complex human society. Sort of SF on a macro level. I came across Brian Robertson who created a software company called Ternary Software to implement and prove all the modern practices for software developement and human organisation. The theories had to be practical and work to run a successful organisation.

The new approach is… Continue

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
voluminous books?

You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
