Hi Marco,

what about the perspectives of customer and user?

Who defines what an innovation actually is?
The success, interest or reputation something gets from possible customers /users mades an innovation ...
or that´s at least one important part of it.

Hi Marc,

welcome back! I am interested in the discussions you started.
Last week I saw a video from Manfred Spitzer, he did research on what are good conditions for creative thinking. The experiments showed, that the brain works best when not disturbing it through intensive thinking on a topic. In a relaxed situation while doing something very different it works best and there are the best results. Anyone interested in more around that?

Dear group memebers. Today I had a problem! I worked on another computer and had to sign in again and I saw that I created another, second profile. I removed it and it was a shock to notice that I removed the wrong one. I put some comments on this group page and these disappeared with my profile. Now I managed to reset my page and I am happy that I found you again! I will try to start the discussion again.
This was for me a real innovating experience!

Yes for me innovation is connect more with product and change more with people.
So in a systemic point of view innovation is connect with:
new product
new ideas
client who buy the product
creativity process and his resources
the producers (as workers who do the job)
ostacles and context factor.

Hi all, I really engaged about innovation. I'm working about it and next time I'll post here some file to share.

I have a project with the Engineering University.
My goal is to assess the benefits of the implementation of SF to support scientific research in universities.
I am working to increase creative resources. In my idea, creativity stems from deep relaxation and entering in connection with the object of research. Here in Italy there is one physic who teaches: intuitive-sciences This is a little 'in my direction.

thanks for the question! Interesting, I checked some results from Google; most definitions are from business. The broadest definitions I saw:

"The term innovation may refer to both radical and incremental changes in thinking, in things, in processes or in services ."(Mckeown, 2008).

What do the others think?
