Hello - I am Svea located in Cape Town, South Africa. I visit UK Europe and Australia most years in order to maintain my freshness in SF Thinkng and Practice. Quality is an intriguing word and hence I'm gathering data during training, coaching, supervision and reflective practice sessons I facilitate about what this word means to people, how they use it in their work places and practices. Is there anyone else in this group doing something similiar who'd like to compare notes?

Hi everyone, I'm Brian and I'm quality manager in a small private university College in Ghana. I'm very interested in applying SF approaches to our quality management. I'm already initiating a process to orient our appraisal process around SF ratings.

I do hope the group is still active and will be possible to share insights.

Hi again - if the link to the SF in Auditing article (below) doesn't work, visit the IRCA (International Register of Certifried Auditors) Website and have a look at the InForm E Magazine Issue 21 - The article is called Solutions Focus in Auditing...

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I passed, as responsible for the quality of my Department, the factory inspection in accordance with ISO 17025.
It was a complex process because we extended two chemical tests very difficult.

The approach SF helped me to stay focused on the objective and I realized how this has taken effect also on my colleagues.

What I want to share with you is an observation that the inspector, reading our "reviews as management", has suggested including opening the document with benefits that the application of the rule has led.

Benefits and successes are SF!

Thank you for your comment, Marco.
I was mostly interested in quality of services that I've been delivering. In the field of consultancy that include (from my POV) immediate reflection of my own professional role, in the training field it is striving to meet given quality standards (in our country are the most common ones Q For, EFQM or ISO).
From the organizational POV I was most immpressed by the British standard Investors in people (IIP) that is not based on detailed process description but mostly on specific outcomes that organization (or, better said, people in organization) should meet... I guess, it could be easily combined with SF approach.
In fact, I am very new in certification and/or audit stuff, so I'd be pleased to follow further discussion of the experts in this group. :)
In other words, any ideas and/or experiences are warmly welcomed.
