Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
Suppose we had a section among these groups where you can find a list of workshops, training programmes, seminars and other learning initiatives:
What kind of information would you like to find in there?
In the Steering Group we decided to ask for opinions on what the guidelines for this group should be. Please let us know what you’d like to see included, and what should be excluded.
As you might have notices on the list I am running a test on announcing trainings. Below I have copied the text from my mail and I invite you to add you thoughts and impressions on what happens (and…Continue

what else do we need to think of, before it can start happening?
2 thoughts from the Steering Group discussion on this topic
-trainings listed here should have a clear connection to SF work >>> might mean for Jesper+Christine's list:
-this group should be a closed group, which would allow
i think announcing great repeating courses is also useful for users, would mean for Jesper+Christine's list something like:
I like Bart's idea of announcing new and special occasions.
here's an example of what I mean:
Harry Korman will present his Micro-Analysis research results in a two day workshop in Basel December 8th/9th 2011
After his excellent pre-conference workshop in Balatonfüred I am convinced that spreading his findings is highly relevant and useful for our community.
Maybe it is a good idea to have a devoted sponsor announce the workshops instead of promoting one's own stuff.
what do you think?
warmly

I feel that the learning world need a quantic jump, many companies ask for a new and more incisive approach, so, what I'd like to see are points like:
1 - what makes the difference/distinctivity
2 - how is it possible to measure the impacts on the daybyday work/life
3 - spacial impact (now toward other ....) and temporal ones (in the future)
aso
Jesper and Christine developed a complete checklist.
I would add not to forget to specify if it is a workshop, a seminar, a training, or whatever.
I like Jesper's wish for information and would add to
2. Short description including the goals/benefits of the training...
5. Dates and Duration (half day/...)
Regular courses should be mentioned once a year (or other period).
My wish for information about training is:
1. Headline
2. Short description of the training if not obvious in the headline (2-3 sentences)
3. Language of the training
4. Country + city
5. Date(s)
6. Website URL and/or contact mail
I take it as obvious that all training showed has a strong SF approach.

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
