Event Description

At SOLWorld 2016 in Liverpool we really enjoyed the Open Space workshop format, where anyone could propose and lead a session and we could join/leave at any time (there were 50 workshops over the 2 days!).

We came up with an idea to try running lots of workshops online at the same time and have tested Zoom video software which works really well.

On Monday 27th June at 8pm UK (BST/GMT+1 / 9PM CET we will be running the first ever SOLWorld Online Open Space session, with 8-10 workshops running in groups of 4 or 5 for 45mins in Session 1 at 8pm (UK) and another 4-5 topics for 45mins in Session 2 at 9pm (UK). So far we have topics on:

1 - SF and Mindfulness
2 - SF Working with young people (Mental Health & Substance Misuse)
3 - Creating 'Flow'
4 - Writing/marketing a full SF book
5 - 'Just hit the publish button!' Getting started with writing online

6 - Practify: Online group 'gamified' learning tool

All you need to do is download, install and test the free Zoom software from here (click!), then at 8pm UK/9pm CET join us by clicking this link:

https://zoom.us/j/8022264103

There is still room for a few more sessions and they can be on any topic related to Solution Focus and the SOLWorld community - we are really excited about this way of sharing knowledge and connecting with our SF friends so please join us even if you just want to watch!

We will e-mail full instructions for Zoom and the Open Space format along with confirmed topics/hosts.

I've cancelled something so I can jump in and attend, at least for some of the time. I am keen to learn about how to use SF in designing/implementing a Culture Change programme. Could I put this as a request for this forum?

I am really sorry, I have a prior engagement that night, really support this and would love to have taken part. I look forward to another evening!

Jumpstart into Solution Focus

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
voluminous books?

You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
