Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations

BJörn Johansson caused a very strong ripple during the summer retreat. As we were having dinner, he asked me: why does it seem so simple for people to have conversations about what they want to get, how to make business or how to find health and develop themselves, but rarely have conversations about what they do to contribute to the world or create meaning for others?

• Dear Liselotte, I want to add my thanks for sharing the Strong Summer Retreat Ripple - one just got to love the alliteration. The contents have really touched me and I was struck by how the question could trigger creative conversations and commitment to actions. Anton, I agree, together we can make this world a better place - with the emphasis that we take of ourselves. I decided to add this comment just now when listening to an interview with Dr. Margaret Wheatley about her new book, simply called "Perseverance" : Here's a link (use the second option: http://www.thedrpatshow.com/guests.php?guest=240&name=Dr.+Marga...

Dear friends, Joelle Chabwine Balegamire was overwhelmed by your generosity in sharing financial and other resources. She wants to thank all of you for your contributions. We will set up a news letter on the Salama Neuroscience Center, so that we will be able to keep you updated on their activities. From the bottom of my heart, a million thanks! Together we can make this world a better place!

Thank you, Liselotte, for describing your thoughts around it. I'm happy Antons presentation became part of the retreat and I was impressed by the response amongst our group. It gave me some new ideas how I especially can help – in other projects, too.
