Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations

SF Self Evaluation for Blended Learning

In Nov. '08 I was invited as a keynote-speaker at the "moodle konferenz 2008" in Zug, Switzerland for the topic: "Solution Focused Evaluations for Learning Processes". You may find the handout (in German) ==> HERE

"moodle", by the way, is one of the most popular environments for "blended learning" used in 204 countries by 1,860,009 Teachers in 2,564,079 Courses for 28,079,347 Users. It is an "Open Source" software.
For more see here: http://moodle.org/ and http://moodle.com/

After this conference about 10 persons - most of them participants of that conference - wanted to find out together with me in detail how to do such "SF evaluations" within learning processes based on moodle.

One of the results now is available. It is a "pilot version" for a "SF Self Evaluation for Blended Learning"

It is based on a "SF self evaluation" I developed some time ago as this ==> form (in English) to print out
Based on that a "web-form" for the usage in internet-platforms like moodle was created.
But you can use it also without integration into moodle and also for "traditional" courses without any parts to be done in the web.

You are very welcome to try it out as a Web-application:
==> English Version (form to print out also available, please send me a message!)
==> German Version (form to print out also available, please send me a message!)
==> Czech version (form to print out also available, please send me a message!)

I'm interested in taking a look at your evaluation form, Hans-Peter. Would you email me a copy in English? You've got my email address.

Thank you, Riccardo, for trying out this test.
As I cannot see what you entered in the form (nothing is stored on the webserver...) I cannot judge how good you understood this (German) form.... But I am sure: You understood it in a for you useful way.
Ciao

danke hans peter,
you know we like "scaling".
I hope to have all rigth understood, sure I'll try it again, in few days, also to verify if something will change in my perception.
very interesting, also because an auto-test push me to "think" and (probably) to begin a "thinking and re-thinking process" toward changes.
best regards

The form would work well. And it will be easy to adapt the form to a wide range of other solution focused contexts (not just formal courses).

I am sure I can make good use of it. And I will be thinking of it as 'individual (or group) evaluation' rather than 'self-evaluation' since it can be used by the individual or group to evaluate the 'success' (for them) of the SF activity.

I have a project coming up shortly where I will trial such an adaption. I will keep you informed.
