"The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between how nature works and the way people think."
Gregory Bateson
Nora Bateson's award-winning film 'An ecology of mind' has rekindled awareness of the work of her father, celebrated anthropologist, philosopher, author, naturalist, systems theorist Gregory Bateson. Nora's work shows, from a very personal perspective, how Bateson’s way of thinking reveals practical approaches to the enormous challenges confronting the human race and the natural world.
Nora Bateson presents viewers not only with an intellectually challenging and inspiring work of art, but also with a glimpse of evanescent hope.”
Marilyn Wedge – Huffington Post
Following a sell-out series of showings in the UK and around the world, this workshop is a unique opportunity to explore how Bateson's ideas on information and connectedness are developing into the current context. Come and join conversations about:
...Plus whatever conversations YOU would like to bring.
We can promise science, music, film, people, conversation and participation – all around the thinking of Gregory Bateson. 'An Ecology Of Mind' will be shown as a curtain-raiser to the day.
"For me, watching Nora Bateson’s film was overwhelming” Resurgence Magazine
Places are limited to 30. Tickets are £59 +VAT and include lunch and refreshments.

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
