<p>I do think we can talk about 'competency' in SF practitioners. We are not experts about our clients lives and wishes - but we ARE experts in conversation, in process, in affirming, in clarifying, in questioning and so on. You might like to look at the SFCT Clues (<a href="http://www.asfct.org/clues.php">http://www.asfct.org/clues.php</a>) for some of the compentencies of a good SF practitioner.</p>
