Annual Japanese SF conference. The official language is Japanese.
For English speaking participants the conference booklet will be translated. And there will be English whispering translation throughout the plenaries and in some workshops which you can listen through headsets. Because of your inconvenience in the language you are not charged full amount for the conference. But you are asked to pay for the translation, which will be 20,000yen per person for the whole conference. And you also need to pay for the hotel and food. We will assist you in booking the hotel.
AND you should not miss the opportunity of enjoying the sightseeing tour in Tokyo guided by Ruiko Aoki. It will start in the afternoon of June 19th and ends in the evening of 20th. This tour includes experiencing Japanese musical instruments like Koto, Shamisen and drums. Ruiko is a fun loving fantastic guide. This will cost approximately 20,000yen. June 21st is the pre-conference seminar day. June 22 and 23 are the conference.
Mark and Jenny, Ben Furman and Marco Ronzani are already on our welcome list.
If you have any question, please email me at aoki@solutionfocus.jp
There is no registration form in English, so please email me when you have decided to come. I hope to see SOL friends coming to Japan and experiencing our version of SOL culture.

Wow, Jenny, thank you for pointing that out! I had no knowledge of the significance of 2013 being J400. YES, out friendship is very important!!!
This week I went to see a wonderful play about William Adams, also known as Anjin-san. The play, Anjin: The Shogun and the English Samurai, was a co-production by HoriPro and Thelma Hunt, directed by the Royal Shakespeare Company's Gregory Doran with a cast of 18 Japanese people and 7 Brits. Both languages were spoken, with surtitles to help the mixed audience. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I learned that 2013 has been named J400 to mark the 400th Anniversary of Japan-British Relations - our King (James I and VI) sent letters of friendship and a precious goblet to the Shogun. By then Adams/Anjin has already been in Japan for 13 years. We will make sure that we mark J400 somehow when we come to J-SOL 6. Our friendship is very important - can't wait!
Dear Julia, thank you very much for your encouraging message. I am sure our dream will come true soon.
Dear Ruiko, dear Aoki, dear all japanese solutionist
I was so happy when Ruiko gave the grey t-shirt of J-sol 2012 as a present to me - thanks again for that. I won't be able to attend this year... but nourish the dream. I'm sure you will have a wonderful conference. Please say hello to the whole team with a deep bow.
Dear Lisolotte, thank you very much for your kind words about J-SOL and us. I am sorry you cannot come this year. But we shall meet again in numerous other ways.
Dear Aoki san, the memory of last year is still vivid and I would love to be there again. Unfortunately it is not possible this year. I wish you a fantastic conference and warmly recommend this event to all the people on the list who want to experience something quite exceptional: the beauty and refinements of your culture, the great hospitality, the honour to be guided by the best possible and fun loving guide Ruiko, and last but not least the amazing easiness with which people apply the Solution Focus.
Thank you, Marco, for coming to J-SOL6 with your lovely wife Franziska. And thank you very much for your contribution by presenting your successful case.
I am very happy to be part of J-Sol2013 with my wife Franziska. Thank you Aoki.

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
